Privacy notice
This notice describes how Fitfarmer is designed to handle data. It is not final and must be confirmed by a qualified lawyer before launch. The legal entity name and registered address will be added.
Who we are
Fitfarmer provides online fitness and nutrition coaching in India. Fitfarmer is a trade name of Legal name to be confirmed, a sole proprietorship of Arun Teja (to be confirmed), at Registered address to be confirmed, India to be confirmed — the "Data Fiduciary". This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
What we collect
- Account data: name, mobile number, language preference.
- Profile and goals: goal, diet type, training experience, schedule.
- Health data: blood test reports and markers, plans, meal and workout logs, steps, sleep and water entries.
- Payment data: order and payment status. Card and UPI details are handled by the payment gateway and not stored by Fitfarmer.
- Consent records: what you agreed to and when.
Why we use it — and your consent
We ask for separate consent for each purpose. You can withdraw any consent at any time from the app's Profile screen.

Who we share it with
- Lab partner — to collect and test your sample and return your report to be named
- Partner doctor — only for medical review, with your consent to be named
- Cloud hosting — Google Cloud / Firebase, configured to store data in the Mumbai (asia-south1) region
- Payment gateway — to process payments to be named
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we erase your personal data unless the law requires us to keep part of it.
Your rights
- Access a summary of your personal data and how it is used — the app lets you export your data.
- Correct or update inaccurate data.
- Erase your data by deleting your account.
- Withdraw consent for any purpose.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with our grievance officer, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Fitfarmer is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process children's data.
Security and breaches
We use access controls and encryption provided by our hosting platform. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected members and the Data Protection Board as the DPDP Act requires.
