About Fitfarmer
What is Fitfarmer?
Fitfarmer is an online fitness and nutrition coaching service for India, led by coach Arun Teja. Every member starts with an at-home blood test. Arun reads the report and writes a personalised Indian meal plan and training programme, which you follow daily in the Fitfarmer app. You retest after 8 weeks.
Who is Fitfarmer for?
Adults in India who want a fitness and food plan based on their own body rather than a generic template — whether the goal is fat loss, strength, energy or better blood markers. Fitfarmer is for people aged 18 and over.
Is it online or in person?
Fitfarmer is fully online. The blood sample is collected at your home, and everything else happens in the app.
Which languages does Fitfarmer support?
The website is available in English, Hindi and Telugu. The app is in English with Hindi and Telugu support planned.
Blood test and plan
Why does Fitfarmer need a blood test?
Your blood markers show things like vitamin D, iron, blood sugar and thyroid status that change what you should eat and how you should train. Starting from your own report means your plan targets your real priorities.
What does the blood panel include?
A fitness-focused panel covering blood count, iron, blood sugar, lipids, thyroid, vitamins and liver and kidney markers. The exact list will be confirmed with the lab partner before launch.
Who writes my plan?
Coach Arun Teja writes every plan personally. If the plan includes a supplement, or your report shows a marker that needs medical attention, a partner doctor reviews it before you receive it.
Is the food plan vegetarian?
It can be. Plans are built from everyday Indian food and can be vegetarian, eggetarian or non-vegetarian depending on what you choose at sign-up.
Do I need a gym?
Your training programme is written for the equipment you have. Tell Arun whether you train at a gym or at home when you sign up.
Medical questions
Does Fitfarmer diagnose or treat conditions?
No. Fitfarmer coaches fitness and nutrition. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe. Always consult your own doctor for medical concerns.
What does the partner doctor do?
The partner doctor reviews any supplement in your plan and any marker that needs medical attention, and approves or changes the plan before it reaches you. Consultations with the doctor are available as an add-on.
I have diabetes, thyroid or another condition. Can I join?
Tell us at sign-up. Keep following your own doctor's treatment. Your plan will be reviewed by the partner doctor, and Fitfarmer may advise you to get your doctor's go-ahead before starting.
Payments, points and data
How much does a cycle cost?
Launch pricing is still being finalised. The pricing page shows the current placeholder figures for the 8-week cycle and add-ons.
What are Harvest Points?
Points you earn for daily actions such as workouts, logged meals, water and sleep. They grow your streak plant and can be redeemed for Fitfarmer vouchers. They have no cash value.
Is my health data safe?
Your data is handled under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You give separate consent for coaching, for sharing with the partner doctor and for the optional leaderboard, and you can withdraw consent, export your data or delete your account from the app.
Is my data stored in India?
Fitfarmer is designed to store member data in India. The privacy notice lists the service providers involved and where they process data.
